About the author:

Beth Walrond is a British illustrator, educated at Falmouth University in England. She works internationally for clients including The New York Times, Wired, The Guardian, and The Wall Street Journal. She has also been actively volunteering for years with Pass the Crayon, an organization that organizes creative workshops for refugee children. Her experience there inspired her to create A Taste of the World, in which she introduces children to the unifying power of food around the world in an accessible way.
