Olaf Heine- Reprint Brazil

In Brazil, the photographer contrasts the Brazilian landscape and architecture with the naked curves of people, particularly surfers, dancers, and beautiful women. With 150 photos, Heine showcases Brazil's sensual joie de vivre, especially the cultural diversity of the metropolis Rio. He does this in unusual black-and-white images, where forms and textures are central. The coffee table book embodies the Brazilian 'saudade,' the longing and wanderlust for the tropical beauty of nature, the vibrant cities, and unique people.

New York Thomas Hoepker
German-born Thomas Hoepker (1936) has been devoted to New York since the late 1960s. Hoepker specialized in reportage and stylish color photography, but like Elliott Erwitt, Hoepker prefers to be in the hectic street life. He enjoys focusing on crowds and anonymous individuals who each carry their 'secrets' or tell their own stories.
