About the author:

Yayo Kawamura was born in South Germany, grew up in Tokyo, and has lived in Berlin since 1989. She studied communication design and has been working as a freelance illustrator and designer from her studio in Kreuzberg since 2001. Yayo has designed numerous picture books and book series for the youngest children. Her colorful and accessible style makes her work beloved by children and parents worldwide.
