About the authors and illustrator
Anne Ameri-Siemens is a journalist and author with years of experience. She worked for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, among others, and became known for her 2007 Spiegel bestseller. For her work, she received prestigious awards such as the Corine International Book Prize and the Grimme Award. With Who Invented This?, she makes her debut in children's literature, translating her passion for stories and human development into an accessible and inspiring format for children.
Becky Thorns, the illustrator of this book, specializes in children's books and literary themes. She studied Fine Art at Falmouth University and has been working in the creative sector for over six years. Her work can be seen in books, magazines, and even on covers such as that of My Cornwall Magazine.
