About the author(s)

Beth Bernstein is a jewelry historian, author, and journalist with an impressive track record. She has written several leading books on jewelry, including The Modern Guide to Vintage Jewellery, Jewelry’s Shining Stars: The Next Generation, and If These Jewels Could Talk. Her work regularly appears in international publications such as Forbes, Rapaport, and Elite Traveler. Additionally, she was a senior editor at two leading jewelry magazines and is active as a speaker and lecturer. In the 1990s, Beth designed her own jewelry collection, which was sold in more than 250 stores worldwide.

Sonia Esther Soltani is a jewelry editor and writer with an international reputation. For seven years, she was the editor-in-chief of Rapaport and played a key role in developing the platform across print, digital, and social media. Sonia writes for publications including the Financial Times, Forbes, and Retail Jeweller, and frequently serves as a juror for international design competitions. Her academic background in art history, film studies, and journalism, combined with her experience in design and luxury lifestyle, gives her work a broad and in-depth perspective. In addition to her journalistic career, she is also a certified life and career coach.
