About the Author
Martijn Doolaard is a Dutch photographer, designer, and travel writer. His love for the outdoors began during fishing and camping holidays with his brothers in a small village in the Netherlands. In 2015, he paused his city life to cycle to China, which he documented in his acclaimed book One Year on a Bike.
