About the author
Phil Penman was born in the United Kingdom and has lived in New York for over 25 years, where he captures the constantly changing cityscape. He has worked for renowned media such as People Magazine and The Daily Telegraph, and has photographed celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and Bill Gates. He was also on-site during historical moments such as the 9/11 attacks. Penman is among the “52 most influential street photographers” worldwide, on a list alongside greats such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Sebastião Salgado.
