About the author:

Charlotte Brooks is Curator of Art at the RHS Lindley Library in London and has been involved in the world of botanical illustration for over 15 years. She has published various articles on the collection and specializes in 19th-century Anglo-Chinese botanical art. As Secretary of the RHS Botanical Art Judging Panel, she plays an important role in the assessment of contemporary botanical artists from around the world. Her expertise and passion for botanical art make this book a valuable and authoritative reference work.
