Issun Bôshi, The One-Inch Boy – Revised Edition
Authors: Icinori
Discover the timeless Japanese fairy tale Issun Bôshi, The One-Inch Boy in a beautiful new edition. This classic story tells of a brave little boy, no bigger than a thumb, who uses his courage and ingenuity to find his place in the world. Armed with a needle as a sword, a bowl as a boat, and a chopstick as a paddle, Issun Bôshi braves adventures that prove courage is more important than size – and, as in any good fairy tale, he ultimately wins the princess's heart.
This re-release combines poetic storytelling with the beautiful, detailed illustrations of the French duo Icinori, who give the story a modern, artistic twist while remaining true to Japanese tradition.
