Fokion Zissiadis (1956, Thessaloniki) is a Greek photographer and adventurer with a deep passion for landscape photography. Originally trained as an architect in Philadelphia, he discovered his love for imagery and composition there. After a successful career in tourism, including being co-owner of the prestigious Sani Resort in Greece, he dedicated himself entirely to photography from 2016 onwards.
Zissiadis traveled the world, capturing extraordinary natural areas – from glaciers in Iceland to the Sahara and savannas in Africa. His work is characterized by an eye for contrast, geology, and human culture in relation to the landscape. His books Iceland, Vietnam, Greenland, and now Morocco have been acclaimed worldwide and exhibited, including at the Benaki Museum in Athens.
